What to listen for

An immediate, detailed idea shows they're already imagining themselves as capable of leading and creating something real, encourage it, even if it's wildly impractical.

If the idea centers on including friends or running something as a group, that tells you belonging matters as much to them as the idea itself.

If they say "I don't know," try offering a silly starter option ("a business that only sells slime?"), sometimes the door just needs a nudge.
