What to listen for

An enthusiastic answer here is pure fun and imagination, and the 'why' often reveals something real, maybe they crave adventure, maybe simplicity, maybe belonging to a tight-knit group. Listen for the feeling behind the choice more than the plot itself.

If they pick something that seems to reflect a wish for certain qualities lacking elsewhere, like found family or clear-cut good and bad guys, hold that lightly rather than analyzing it out loud.

If they can't decide or name several, just enjoy the ride, this one doesn't need to be narrowed down to one lesson.
