What to listen for

If they name someone quickly and without hesitation, that person represents real safety and joy for them, and it shows who currently makes them feel most celebrated and understood.

If they name you, let that land without making a big deal of it out loud, a quiet acknowledgment is often better than a full reaction that might make them self-conscious.

If they hesitate between a few people, that's a sign of a rich support network, no need to make them pick just one.
