What to listen for

If they describe needing solitude after a full day or a lot of socializing, that's healthy self-knowledge, not antisocial behavior, they need that need for alone time respected without being read as something wrong.

If the story involves pulling away because people felt draining or overwhelming, listen for whether it sounds like a passing need or something heavier, either way, meet it gently, without alarm.

If they say that never happens, that's useful too, it tells you they're energized by people right now, which is its own kind of information.
