What to listen for

If they land on something you did together, or a small moment of attention from someone, that's a sign they're soaking up connection right now and want to feel close and noticed.

If they pick something totally unexpected, like a bug they found or a weird cloud, that curiosity and wonder is its own kind of joy, and it shows they feel free enough to notice the world instead of just getting through the day.

If they say "nothing," try naming a small moment you noticed for them first. It often unlocks their memory, and shows them that ordinary days count too.
