If they name a specific hug or snuggle moment with detail, that shows physical closeness is a real, active source of comfort for them right now.

If they mention wanting more of that kind of moment, take it as a genuine request, not neediness, closeness like that is fuel, not extra.

If they say they can't think of one, that's useful information too, it might mean it's a good week to build a cozy moment in on purpose.
