A quick, enthusiastic answer shows genuine interest worth nurturing, it's a window into what excites them beyond what they're already good at.

If they pick something wildly outside their current activities, that's worth taking seriously rather than dismissing, kids often reveal real curiosity through impossible wishes.

If they can't decide or say "everything," that's a sign they're more driven by avoiding the grind of practice than by a lack of interests, a gentle laugh together about how practice really is the annoying part is fine.
