If they share something, it means they're starting to see parents as full people rather than just "mom" or "dad" in a fixed role, a real sign of growing maturity and perspective.

If what they noticed was a moment of struggle or imperfection, receive it without over-explaining or getting defensive; being seen as human, flaws included, actually deepens trust.

If they can't think of anything, that's fine, this kind of noticing often happens quietly and doesn't always get put into words right away.
