What to listen for

If they describe specific cues, tone, body language, going quiet, it means they've developed real emotional attentiveness to the people around them, which is a valuable and often underappreciated skill.

If they mention picking up on this with a particular person, that shows a closeness and attentiveness worth naming directly as a strength.

If they say they usually don't notice until it's said out loud, that's a totally fine, common answer, not everyone reads people the same way, and that's not a flaw.
