What to listen for

If they pick something bold or fast, like a cheetah or lion, they might be identifying with feeling strong, quick, or in charge, a sign they like feeling capable and confident.

If they pick something gentle, curious, or a little quirky, like an otter or a sloth, that could be them embracing a softer or more laid-back side of themselves that feels true and comfortable.

If they say "I don't know," ask what animal a friend would pick for them, sometimes imagining another's view unlocks self-reflection.
