If they land on a shared moment with people they love, that shows connection is a big source of their joy. If it's a solo moment (playing alone, achieving something), that shows independence brings them real satisfaction too.

A quick, easy answer shows they have plenty of joyful memories close to the surface, which is a great sign.

If they struggle to think of one, that's worth gently noting, maybe it's time to create more moments of pure fun together this week.
