What to listen for

The job they choose often reflects a value or interest they already carry, helping, building, performing, exploring. Ask what part of that job excites them most.

If they pick something silly or impossible (dragon trainer), that's a wonderful sign of imagination, not something to correct toward 'real' jobs.

If they're stuck, ask what they'd want to be really good at if practice wasn't a problem.
