What to listen for
If they can recall a moment, it means they're comfortable with intense positive emotion and don't feel a need to downplay it as "too much", that's a healthy relationship with joy.
If the moment involved other people, notice who was there, that often points to relationships carrying real emotional weight and meaning for them.
If they say that's never happened or they can't think of one, that's fine to leave as is; not everyone experiences joy that way, and there's no need to chase a bigger reaction.
