The prompt

“Have you ever had to work with someone you just don't get along with? How'd you handle it?”

What to listen for

If they describe managing it maturely, they're learning that you don't need to like someone to work well with them, a genuinely useful life skill forming early.

If they say it was really hard, that's honest and worth acknowledging, some personality clashes are just genuinely draining, and that's not a failure on their part.

If they haven't experienced this yet, mention it's common and totally manageable when it comes up, so it doesn't feel alarming later.
