What to listen for

Items about comfort (snacks, blankets, pillows) show what currently makes them feel cozy and safe. Items about adventure (slides, secret tunnels, lookout towers) show their imagination reaching outward.

If they include a spot 'just for me,' that's a sweet sign they value having their own space sometimes.

If they include a spot for the whole family, that shows how much they enjoy shared time too, both answers are wonderful.
