What to listen for

Features about adventure (volcanoes, hidden caves, wild animals) show a kid in an exploratory, brave headspace right now, hungry for a bit of excitement.

Features about comfort and company (a house for the whole family, a beach for everyone, no scary parts) show a kid who's currently drawn more to togetherness and safety than adventure.

If they can't decide, ask what they'd want to do first thing after landing, sometimes starting with an action unlocks the bigger picture.
