A quick, confident answer shows a strong, clear sense of what genuinely matters to them right now, which is worth remembering for gift ideas or quality time together.

If they pick something tied to a memory or a person rather than an object, that tells you relationships currently matter more to them than things, a lovely thing to notice.

If they struggle to pick just one, that's fine too, let them build out a whole wing of the museum instead of forcing a single answer.
