What to listen for

Whatever job they name, notice the theme behind it, helping others, being creative, being an expert, being in charge. That theme says more than the job title itself.

If they name multiple jobs or change their mind easily, that's completely normal and shows healthy exploring, not indecision to worry about.

If they say 'I don't know,' ask what they'd love doing all day if they could do anything.
