What to listen for

If they can describe that moment, it shows a maturing sense of fairness, they're starting to value being honest about who did what over looking good themselves, which is a big developmental step.

Listen for whether it was easy or hard for them to do it, if it was hard, they need to hear clearly that you noticed the effort it took, not just the good outcome.

If they say they've never done this, you could ask if there was ever a time they wanted to but didn't, that honesty matters more than a tidy answer.
