If they describe it in vivid detail, they're comfortable imagining their own future life, separate from the family's current one, a healthy sign of forming their own identity.

If the picture closely mirrors their current home, that likely reflects real contentment and security in how things are now.

If they say they haven't thought about it, that's completely normal, some kids just haven't started picturing that far ahead yet.
